
Three arrested for posing as taxi drivers to attack victims

Three suspected thieves who pose as taxi drivers to lure unsuspecting victims, especially women into their car and steal their mobile phones and other valuables have been arrested.
According to police reports, the suspects operate during rush hours with two of them seated at the front and the third person positioned at the back. They intentionally lock the car immediately a victim gets on-board and pretend to help them open the doors when they get to their destination, and then steal their phones and wallets.
The suspects are currently in custody assisting with investigations while efforts are being made to locate and arrest individuals involved in buying the stolen items.
