Landlady killed after confronting tenant for defecating in polybag

At Agona Nyakrom, a landlady, Madam Charlotte has died following an alleged assault by the grandson of a tenant who defecated in front of her room

Reports suggest the​​ incident happened when Madam Charlotte confronted the tenant for defecating into a polythene bag in front of her room and chose to leave it at her doorstep.

The tenant, however, claimed she could not reach the public toilet in time because she suffered stomach upset.

While the initial disagreement appeared to have settled following a heated argument, the tenant later accused Madam Charlotte of gossiping about the incident to others.

The tenant, in response, summoned her grandson, Paa Kwesi, who upon arrival, allegedly attacked the landlady using a belt to assault her.

Madam Charlotte's health is said to have declined rapidly, and was rushed to the Nyakrom Health Centre due to complications from high blood pressure. She was subsequently referred to another hospital but was pronounced dead upon arrival.
