Student who raped colleague during study hours arrested

A male student of Adeiso Presbyterian Secondary School has been arrested for allegedly raping a female student.

The suspect, a Form 2 student, is said to have forced himself on the victim during evening "prep" studies.

The victim was reportedly standing when the suspect approached her and began touching her inappropriately.

Despite the victim asking him to stop, the suspect allegedly pushed her down and sexually assaulted her.

Following the incident, the victim reported the matter to school management, where a formal police report was filed, leading to the arrest of the suspect.

A medical examination at the hospital confirmed that the victim was sexually abused.

The suspect's parents reportedly visited the school in an attempt to appeal to the victim's family to drop the case.

However, the victim's family has refused the plea, firmly demanding that justice be served through the legal system.

The suspect is currently in police custody, assisting with ongoing investigations.
