This is Dauda Mohammed, a boy who was jailed two years ago at Kumasi Central Prison for taking picture with a gun.
Speaking with Crime Check TV Gh, he disclosed that the unlicenced gun was given to him by his Nephew to keep it for him.
"I posed with the gun and posted it on my Whatsapp as a profile picture and a friend of mine downloaded it"
My friend asked me to sell the gun to him but I refused, because the gun was not for me, so he reported me to the police.
Dauda, who was an Okada rider said, he was arrested when he was going about his daily job at the bus station looking for passengers.
According to him, the three police officers sent him to the house to retrieve the gun and showed the picture he took with the gun for him to identify the person in the footage.
"I was jailed for six months with a fine of Gh¢2,400".
