Five arrested for several crimes

Five individuals allegedly linked to a series of motorbike theft and other related crimes have been arrested in Abor, a community near Akatsi in the Volta Region.

The suspects who were arrested during an operation in the area are believed to be involved in crimes across several communities including; Abor, Avenorpreme, Anyako, Akatsi, and nearby towns.

Reports indicate that two out of the five suspects were apprehended in Akatsi, and the others in Agbozume.

Meanwhile, the Police Command in Abor is making efforts to locate and arrest additional suspects who remain at large.

The arrested suspects will be processed for court to face prosecution.
