Ibrahim, a farmer in his 50s was hit with stroke in his early 20s. A condition that totally changed his life instantly, bringing him overwhelming emotions of grief, anger, sadness, and loneliness, as he is forced to adjust to a new normal.

Bound to a wheelchair, Ibrahim lives in Tsotsoo, a small farming community in the Central Region.

Despite his condition, Ibrahim does not want to be idle and be fed by others. He tells Crime Check that he still manages to find his way through the bushes to the farm, struggling to work with his left hand, in order to put food on his table.

It has been his hope to buy a refrigerator to start a pure water business to change his story.

As part of it's Village Charity Series, a team from Crime Check went to Tsotsoo on a money sharing mission kind courtesy Mr Wanick based in the US to support persons who barely could afford decent food.

The team met Ibrahim who appealed for the refrigerator as the organization gave him and others Ghc500 each for their upkeep.

It is our hope that we get the refrigerator for Ibrahim.

Let's be content with who we are.
